Hey i bought my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd gen and AT2020 yesterday, i downloaded the drivers and it all worked perfectly, after i turned my PC off for the night and turned it on today it just stopped working, the mic doesnt work. Anyone has any idea of why this might be happening ? UPDATE :
If you connect a Scarlett Solo or 2i2 3rd Gen to your computer and open the Output Routing tab in Focusrite Control, you'll see the message "Output routing is not supported on this device". This is entirely normal with these models and does not stop audio from your computer from being played through the outputs on the Solo or 2i2.

You need to make sure Windows is not using the 2i2 for any audio other than PT. Go to Control Panel-Sound and under the Playback and Recording tabs make sure the default is the in built audio. Any entries that appear for the 2i2 disable. If you want to hear computer audio such as YouTube etc, use computer speakers plugged into the onboard
Control Panel -> Add & Remove Programs -> Uninstall Focusrite Control, Thunderbolt Usb driver, and Focusrite Usb driver. Reboot your computer. Go to Focusrite website and login (if you already registered your product). If you can't find it, just google and search for "Focusrite login".

The Scarlett shut down for 2 or 3 seconds, the sampling rate went back to the original setting, but when the Scarlett came back on, it was working properly. I don't know if the Scarlett got reset or initialized somehow, or if the process somehow got it working properly with my iMac, but in either case, it's now working the way it's supposed to.

If you suspect that the plugins are corrupted or are not working fine, consider uninstalling them and installing them again. This will most likely fix the issue. If it does not, reinstalling the Scarlett 2i2 USB audio interface software is your last resort. Reinstall
This was an absolute nightmare to fix, the issue is FocusControl not working with the latest version of Windows 10, the solution is to fully uninstall everything, and download the DRIVER ONLY
Disconnect any other USB devices you might have connected to the system. Connect your interface to other USB ports. Some ports on your system may offer better performance than others. If you use a USB hub, bypass this and connect your Scarlett directly to a USB port on your computer.

If you've just upgraded to Windows 11 but are getting a "No Hardware Detected" message when trying to use your Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, you've come to the right place. Let's start off with some simple troubleshooting tips to get you started: Diver Re-Install
You install the driver while Focusrite Scarlett 2I2 is plugged in: First, uninstall the driver for the Focusrite audio interface. Second, disconnect Focusrite Scarlett 2I2 from your computer. ILok is not needed for the 2i2, nor for Ableton Live. Are you getting any sound from the interface (YouTube, Games)? Does it light up? Are you sure you've reinstalled the correct drivers? It could be possible something may be malfunctioning. Try contacting customer support tomorrow. It also could just be the USB wire itself going bad which you could order online. Try reinstalling drivers too. Uninstall everything for focusrite. Go to device manager and look for focusrite stuff too uninstall it from there then reboot.
