May 15, 2018 · The 159 is a stunning looking car (As is the Brera) but the best models are rare and are becoming more rare. The GM lumps , 2.2 , 1.8 MPI and all Diesals won't last the test of time with Alfisti , too heavy , not eneough power to match that look and just TBH a poor attempt on Alfas part.
Jan 9, 2016 · Turned out that my 159 was in great nick for its age (9 years) but the subframe was Swiss cheese. This is an £870.00 part excluding fitting. So in conclusion there may be some good ones out there but don't be under the illusion that the subframe can't be a risk. Giulietta QV Line JTDM-2 - Prodrive 225/35/19.

Looking at about £1600 on renewal for the 159. Tips for insurance: put a named driver with a clean license and lots of experience.

A 5w30 will be no better for the dpf, they did change the spec of oil to 5w30 on the later cars but I think that was more to do with lowering the emissions for the
I quite like the look of the Alfa Romeo 159 & GT 1.9 diesel possibly 2006/07, however fun to drive, and the later models ultimately reliable. The newer models, 156, 159, GT etc are good cars

It's a 159 1.9 JTS Distinctive (sedan) from 2007 112000 km driven Manual transmission Gasoline/ petrol (not sure what the right translation is) I'm buying from a dealer, so that gives some guarantees. Not an Alfa Romeo dealer, just a used car dealer. Are there a lot of well-known issues with this car?

Diesel models keep the same time interval but bump up the mileage to every 96,000 km (60,000 miles). These recommended intervals are quite a bit different to what Alfa Romeo originally specified.
